Lead the Research Technology Facilitator (RTF) program and the Web@Illinois project. The RTF program is a service for researchers and IT professionals to help connect researchers to technology resources no matter their location - across departments, across campus and beyond. Web@Illinois is seeking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of web management on campus, especially in how we empower faculty and students to share their scholarly work on the web. Both efforts involve leading and organizing people across boundaries to get things done.

The idea behind bySwarm is to collaboratively build an RPG setting using the web site community, which we call the Swarm. As writers, artists, and other community members contribute content to the setting, their submissions will be rated by the community which will earn the contributors recognition within the Swarm and potentially the larger gaming community. With so many people trying to get noticed in the RPG industry or wanting to work on something, bySwarm gives them that opportunity to contribute, get noticed, and make a little money if they really have the talent.

Strategically manage and implement IT solutions for multiple departments at the Urbana-Champaign and Chicago campuses of the University including the Offices of Technology Management and the Office of the Vice President for Technology and Economic Development. Managed major database migration project with a six-figure budget with completion on time and under budget. Worked with management to implement IT projects that would create new business opportunities and make existing processes more efficient.

Created and promoted site for female gamers called GamerChicksRule.com

Developed high quality strategic websites for clients in multiple industries. Evaluated website traffic for clients and provided a plan for development and improvements that would increase traffic and stickiness. Created internal time tracking and management system that significantly reduced the time needed to bill clients. Installed and managed Lotus Notes groupware.

Managed and implemented all aspects of IT including networking, desktop management, server management, database administration, and website development. Increased content value of website which resulted in double the daily website traffic.

Managed client website development and served as technical team leader on multiple projects. Managed online computer hardware sales and increased monthly sales from $10,000 to $100,000 per month in 4 months.
