Ran our field program in ten counties across south central PA. Worked closely with our county committees and local campaigns to put together a robust volunteer-driven grassroots network that was able to make 100,000 voter contact attempts in my region over the 4 days of GOTV. In charge of the field budget and staff including full time organizers as well as paid block walkers, interns, and volunteers. Prioritizing and targeting voters for direct mail, phone calls and block.

Organizer for Houston’s city council district A, recruiting and training volunteers, coordinating voter contact activities and community outreach. I have also assisted the field director with analyzing past election data and modeling vote goals for precincts city-wide.

Lead organizer in council district 7 for Mayor Ravenstahl’s reelection campaign. Volunteer recruitment, training, and management, extensive use of Vote Builder database, and independently responsible for meeting robust voter contact goals in my territory.

Responsible for volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling and retention for one of the Obama campaign ‘Get Out The Vote’ offices.

Managed the scheduling, manufacturing, advertising and promotion of CD releases. Coordinated tour promotion, including local street teams and online marketing. Managed and scheduled interns. Created and managed web sites, online mail-order stores, and maintained our mailing list. Provided graphic design services for many of our CD and DVD releases, and ran.

I founded the company and released more than 20 albums over the course of six years. I used the label as a vehicle for creating awareness of important local charities and social causes, from after school programs for at-risk children, to homelessness, domestic violence, and police brutality. I accomplished this by organizing benefit shows at local music.

I was a Ph.D. student in microbiology and conducted research on retrovirus replication using the Rous Sarcoma Virus model. I completed all of my graduate coursework with a 3.85 GPA, and passed my qualifying exams before leaving the program in 2003.I authored or co-authored several primary research articles in peer-reviewed journals based on my research.
