Over a 6 year period, I was instrumental in rebranding and relaunching this defunct, 30-year old outerwear brand, tooling it for successful sale in 2016. As Director of Brand and eCommerce, I developed and executed a comprehensive brand strategy that included a new visual identity system, brand story, D2C eCommerce site, and marketing strategy. As a one-man marketing team my achievements at Wild Things included:• 100% growth in D2C eCommerce revenue, year-over-year, from 2009 to 2013 with a steady 20% growth thereafter.• The launch of a bespoke, made-to-order, mass-customization program and product line that quickly became 25% of our total eCommerce revenue• A total marketing spend of less than 3% of revenue• An eCommerce conversion rate that exceeded the industry standard

At MediaConcepts I worked directly with the Creative Director to manage and design complete marketing projects including corporate annual reports, brand identity and branded programs, consumer packaging and advertising, and Web experiences. MediaConcepts represents a number of regional and global clients that I had the pleasure of working with including Sepracor Pharmaceuticals, Ocean Spray Cranberries, MFIC, and Parexel.

As a senior level designer at Benes, I contributed to the creative development and execution of branding and branded projects, working both independently and collaboratively with design teams to develop cohesive visual branding campaigns across print and digital media. The company's clients represented a number of vertical markets including financial services, technology, life sciences, manufacturing, communications, higher education, and consumer goods. Notable clients included The Boston Stock Exchange, Sun Microsystems, Perkin Elmer, Textron, MobileQ, Northeastern University, and New Balance.

As assistant AD, I supported the Creative Director in determining the monthly creative course for two national, sailing-oriented, magazines, Sailing World and Cruising World. I helped establish a unifying aesthetic for feature articles and monthly columns, and my responsibilities included photo shoot direction, layout and design of feature articles and monthly columns, and photography selection from numerous outside sources.
