Presently I'm assigned as a detective. I manage a very diverse caseload of investigations including crimes against persons and property. I investigate rapes, robberies, homicides and violent offenses.Since 2005, I've also been assigned as the Sex Offender Registry Coordinator for the Brockton Police Department. This entails tracking and apprehending fugitives and non-compliant sex offenders. I am responsible for registering sex offenders and educating the public where about sex offenders live and how to remain safe with sex offenders residing in our community.In April 2015 I became certified as a Level ll Health and Wellness Instructor and began working as a PT instructor at the police academy. This is in addition to my duties at BPD.Active member of:ICAC- Internet Crimes Against Children Task ForceU.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task ForceI previously worked as a patrol officer for several years on various shifts. I responded to all types of calls including shootings, stabbings, robberies and motor vehicle accidents. I also worked as a Mountain Bike Officer for several years. I was certified by both the Mass. Criminal Justice Training Council and the International Police Mountain Bike Association. On the Mountain Bike I proactively patrolled the streets of Brockton and made numerous drug and gun arrests in addition to public nuisance crimes.
