I am a biotechnology commercialization specialist. Following the completion of my Ph.D,, I began my career in patent law with a large IP firm in Washington DC. I was then bit by the "start-up bug" and spent five years with an emerging biotech firm in Baltimore, MD. I now practice all facets of technology commercialization including technology transfer, licensing agreements, clearance opinions, patent preparation and prosecution, and invalidity and non-infringement opinions. The experiences I acquired while training with Nobel Laureates at UCSF, studying with attorneys that shaped and molded the biotech patent field, and working with pioneering disruptive technologies at an early-stage company, provide a unique skill set to efficiently and effectively help you transfer technology from the bench to the marketplace.Specialties: Technical areas of expertise: Biochemistry and molecular biology, stem cells, gentic engineering, and molecular diagnostics.
