About Mike De Sisti

I'm a multimedia photojournalist at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a 200,000-circulation newspaper that covers the greater Milwaukee area and the state of Wisconsin. My responsibilities include news photography, multimedia production, photographer and reporter video/audio training, and editing. I'm a native of the northwest suburb of Chicago, Crystal Lake, IL. I graduated from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale with a fine art photography degree. After graduating in 1996, I freelanced in the Chicago metro area. I accepted an internship at the the Post-Crescent in Appleton, WI, in 1997 where I was eventually hired as a a full-time photojournalist. I've been at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel since April of 2008. My hobbies include traveling, chasing around my daughters, and running. I've run 11 marathons since 2006.
