Responsible for the firm’s finance, legal, technology, compliance, operations, and related functions. I joined the firm shortly after its inception by the firm's two co-founders, established initial vendors and procedures for all of the firm's operations, and serve as a non-voting member of the firm’s Investment Committee.

After working with the company as a seed investor and advisor since March 2017 was asked to join as observer on Board of Directors with the Series A where I participate and consult regularly.

Founder of Lobos Valley Advisors, a consulting firm providing trusted, independent advice to private equity firms, venture capital firms, and their portfolio companies. For one illustrative private equity firm, drove special projects over a ten year period to realize several hundred million dollars of incremental cash generation through patent monetization, sales of end-of-life fund interests, insurance collections, and fee audits. Other contributions included the development of a compliance and administration program for the operating executive team. Additional work with over thirty other clients comprising a mix of investment firms and direct-to-portfolio company relationships involving patent transactions, investments, and strategic counseling. This additional activity led to more than thirty-five closed deals and twenty-three unique due diligence projects involving multiple situations. Advisory work included interim "C-suite" role and board work for several companies.

Key executive hired to help restructure company's wireless business and international operations, to run corporate development and legal affairs, and to manage day-to-day P&L responsibility for wireless division. Raised $21M through sale of assets, launched company's first clean tech product (EKO), drove company's largest wireless business win as measured by revenue (FedEx), and improved operational performance as measured by >80% increase in revenue per employee during tenure. Performed full range of CFO responsibilities including annual budgeting, audit, tax, equity & debt, stock options, banking, reporting and strategic planning.

After a year and a half in the legal department, moved to Intel's internal venture capital group as a senior investment professional. Worked closely with Intel Research on advance projects, leading to development and execution of Intel Capital's initial investment strategies in MEMS, nanotechnology, ubiquitous computing, and Web 2.0. Positive IRR in each year tracked. Significant experience as a Board Observer, as well as business development through licensing and co-development activities between Intel and portfolio companies. Of ten company portfolio, seven exits to date include: Iridigm (Qualcomm), Reflectivity (Texas Instruments), Six Apart (Say Media), Delve Networks (Limelight), Arch Rock (Cisco), Crossbow (Moog), and Colibrys (Safran). Two companies still private, and one company failed.

First associate hired to help launch intellectual property practice group with former partner from Weil Gotshal & Manges. Significant and broad experience, with highlight being protection of the Citigroup mark following the merger of Citibank and Travelers Group.
