I like to troubleshoot and solve problems. Throughout my career, I have been driven by my analytical curiosity to find answers to the most critical questions. Whether it’s determining the optimal path for transmitting packets or finding an older CPU model for a specific motherboard, I’ve been able to quickly recognize a customer’s distress and develop a strategic solution. With my vast skill-set, I bring customer-centric mindfulness that enables firms to innovate and thrive. This is what I’ve done for my clients at Doenut Computers where I provide IT consulting services for homes and small to mid-sized businesses such as several car dealerships, and multiple dentist offices, to firms as large as Raymond James. I supply reliable, cost-effective ways to manage IT infrastructure. My analytical curiosity also drives me to be a lifelong learner. I studied computer science and business administration at Baker College to navigate the startup of Doenut Computers. I recently refined my skill set by receiving certification in technical support and IT operations by passing the CompTIA A+ exam. Lastly and most importantly to me, I increased my value and updated my skill set by receiving certification in networking fundamentals, IP services, security fundamentals, automation, and programmability by passing Cisco’s CCNA 200-301 exam. My passion for IT began when I was only 10 years old, living with my grandparents in Grand Blanc, MI. I remember my grandparents being frustrated because they couldn't program the VCR and the TV together to record their programs. Little did they know, I had already been investigating how the VCR functioned, where the cables connected, and what features it offered. The very next day, they were happy after I properly configured the VCR, and they were able to push play and watch their favorite program. I can still recall the feelings of joy and pride that I got when I was able to make sense of it for my grandparents. After that, I was their go-to guy for anything electronic. It became my passion and ever since I've been connected to technology, connecting things together for people to enjoy and troubleshooting them when they break.
