About Michael Dean

Recently:I am thrilled to have joined Porte Communities in the role of Director of Construction. Founded in 1968, Porte Communities has been providing high quality real estate and development services for over 40 years. Porte develops, manages and owns numerous properties in the Lower Mainland. Over the past number of years it has made a strategic shift toward a stronger focus on the residential development side of the business. Largely focused on wood framed condominium residential construction, Porte has built up a tremendous reputation as a leading developer of low and mid-rise projects. As Director of Construction, I will responsible for creating and monitoring budgets for prospective and actual projects, monitor project scheduling from conception to completion and play a hands-on role in the building permit process as well. I will help to establish and ensure realizatioin of targets around cost, scheduling and quality and ultimately profitability and customer satisfaction.
