Good Beer Hunting was initially an editorial platform to tell stories about beer. I joined in a contract capacity, working nights and weekends, to help build the emerging design and consulting side of the business. As the client base grew, I became the first full-time hire—working alongside the founder to build the creative studio to develop brands in the beverage and hospitality spaces. I built and managed the creative team of designers and illustrators, worked directly with clients to develop strategic visual directions, and art directed our editorial platform.I worked with breweries and other craft-minded companies, big and small, to create compelling futures. As a studio, we launched start-ups, re-positioned growing brands, and helped introduce new products and categories for maturing brands who wanted to connect with today's most important audiences.
