Responsible for all accounting activities for eleven branches. Daily duties include overseeing and managing all aspects of branch financials, AR, AP, Payroll (Union and Non-Union), Job Cost, Billing and Collections. Develop and manage the regional annual operating plan, forecasts, variances, trends and analysis. Travel to branches and corporate offices to manage all financial aspects of the region as necessary. Manage monthly closing for all branches within the Metro West Region Prepare, manage and review the branch and Regional Work-In-Process schedule and supporting documents Prepare and present consolidated regional, branch departmental financials and supporting documentation Develop and manage job costing, purchasing and billing systems Train branch managers and staff on accounting, job costing, purchasing and billing systems Manage negotiations, billing and collections of major change orders for all branches within the region Train, oversee and provide oversight for A/R, Billing, Collections, and potential lien needs Develop, review and monitor and adjust KPI’s where necessary Review weekly progress and cash flow activity and create dashboard reports for Senior Management Provide Regional intercompany adjustments and produce consolidated reconciliations  Manage collections, inventory disbursement and procurement, other systems as needed

Develop and manage the regional annual operating plan, forecasts, variances, trends and analysis.  Participate in and manage monthly closing for all branches within the Western Region Prepare, manage and review the branch and Regional Work-In-Process schedule and supporting documents Prepare and present monthly consolidated regional, branch departmental financials and supporting documentation Prepare, review and present annual operating plan along with the Regional Vice President for two regions, and twenty-five branches, multiple lines of work in both Union and Non-Union locations Develop and manage job costing, purchasing and billing systems Provide Regional intercompany adjustments and produce consolidated reconciliations  Manage collections, inventory disbursement and procurement, other systems as needed

Responsible for all financial and administrative activities within a multi company environment that repaired large rotating equipment for refineries, large water projects and power generation facilities. Combined company revenues in excess of 35 million, employing 175 field and shop millwrights and mechanics* Produce individual and consolidated financial statements for multiple companies and divisions in accordance with GAAP*Produce month-end reports, including work in process, cash position, cash flow, fixed assets,*Supervise accountants, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll and admin staff*Manage Cash flow, including customer collections, payroll, vendor payments*Produce and maintain budgets, forecasts and variance reports for multiple companies*Primary contact for CPA review, tax filings, insurance and bonding needs, banking relationships*Manage all tax filings including federal and state income tax, payroll, sales tax, property tax *Manage employee 401k program*Maintain and improve Timberline accounting and job cost systems *Design and develop ERP shop control software for multiple company use*Other accounting and management responsibilities on an Ad-Hoc basis

 Manage the implementation of accounting systems and software for small, medium and large general contractors, subcontractors, and service-related companies.  Assist senior, mid-level management and accounting staff with developing and maintaining a robust accounting and job cost system. Providing hands-on knowledge of all aspects of accounting.  Plan and manage the migration from legacy accounting systems to Timberline system Develop accounting procedures to ensure our customers systems are maintained in accordance with GAAP Train accounting staff on use of G/L, J/C, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll Train employees in accounting workflow issues and best practices and procedures  Convert legacy data and populate Timberline modules using Excel, Access  Create A/R, A/P, Payroll, Job Cost, cash flow, month end and management reports as needed Create financial and management reports using Report Writer, Crystal reports and MS products
