I bring my vast knowledge of the college recruiting industry with me through working with the University of Tennessee football program under Director of Player Personnel, Bob Welton. I have worked directly with Asst. Director of Player Personnel, Matt Wilson, for two years where I have learned the operations side of recruiting in the Power 5 conferences, as well as the evaluation side. Working with the recruiting team gave me opportunity to see the inner workings of a recruiting department in the SEC. With classes exclusively dedicated to intercollegiate athletics I have become knowledgeable of regulations provided by the NCAA and how the policies affect universities.Starting in the winter of 2015 I began working with Tennessee’s recruiting department where I would watch and recognize high school talent. With a predetermined rating system, I would watch high school athlete’s film through Hudl where I would select plays and then edit the film through our XOs Thundercloud system and would allow coaches and personnel staff to further evaluate the player after I recognized their talent.With my work at the University of Tennessee Football, I am confident I can bring the top of the line performance to benefit any team I am given the opportunity to work for. I have gained hands-on experience working with our On-Campus recruiting office to help make our official and unofficial visits a strong part of our recruiting identity at Tennessee. During our season and offseason visits I was able to understand the NCAA regulations for on-campus visits as well as find ways to make Tennessee stand out to elite prospects when they come to tour Tennessee. A large part of encouraging a prospect to enroll at Tennessee is making our campus and atmosphere feel like home, even if they are not native to our state. I have also had the great opportunity to work with some of our assistant coaches and help them increase their social media presence to help them with recruiting.
