From my roots as a Stanford-trained engineer and Harvard MBA operating at the intersection of science, technology and business to my current role at AstraZeneca as the Head of Global Marketing & Market Access for Oncology Diagnostics, I’ve always believed in stepping outside of my comfort zone.My career journey has been anything but conventional, marked by a desire to embrace change and novel challenges as a driving force for personal growth and innovation. Along the way, I’ve had incredible opportunities to shape marketing strategies and lead talented teams at Illumina, Amgen, Merck, Amazon and now AstraZeneca. In my current role, I lead our marketing and market access team, driving global commercial diagnostics strategies in support of our precision oncology therapeutics. As an advocate for embracing change and driving innovation, I am deeply passionate about exploring innovative frontiers, particularly in precision medicine. Drawing from my background in technology and healthcare, I bring a unique perspective to my role at AstraZeneca by infusing an engineering mindset into my work. I believe advancements such as AI hold the potential to transform the entire healthcare ecosystem, from drug discovery to patient care, and it’s by leveraging emerging technologies that we can revolutionize diagnostics and improve health outcomes worldwide. My leadership style focuses on building high-performing teams that are comfortable taking calculated risks. As a servant leader, I focus on enabling my team's success, prioritizing their needs and ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to do their best work. Dedicated to championing diversity and equity, both personally and professionally, I believe in creating opportunities for underrepresented communities to realize success with no impediments.As a twin dad, I’ve learned first-hand the importance of balance, being present and fostering an environment where my children, and future generations, can thrive.
