Most of my work experience comes from my military background. That background is complimented by my work experience as an apprentice electrician. My experience in the military has given me the skills of a leader with the ability to follow. I have experience working as part of a team and the self-sufficiency to work independently. While in the Army, I became proficient at collecting data, utilizing data, storing data, using GPS systems, operating radio systems, operating computer systems, leading employees, outdoor training (land navigation, first aid), map reading, map making, and operating vehicles (from John Deere Gator to Howitzer). The experience I gained from my electrical apprenticeship includes troubleshooting, use of hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, and general maintenance procedures. My education includes studies in wildlife and fisheries management, ecology, field ecology, plant biology, Geographic Information Systems, English, math, management, leadership, and marketing. My values and work ethic are second to none. I am an outdoorsman who values the resources our state has. I have a true passion for wildlife and conservation.
