Having worked in the healthcare technology sector for over 16 years I have gained a deep understanding of the unique and complex nature of our much valued National Health Service. I have a passion for supporting the NHS, its patients and the suppliers who serve it. What I have learnt is that technology alone is not the answer. No one likes change, we all like familarity and routine and change disrupts this. However, technology has the power to enable and empower healthcare staff and patients alike and if used appropriately technology can transform care and operational delivery without question. My role is to identify transformational technology and help suppliers to gain the confidence and the Trust of their customers and prospects by educating both on the true value of their technology. What problems are they solving? Who does it benefit? How does it benefit? etcBy simply and clearly illustrating the challenges that organisations and individuals face on a daily basis allows them to asses what their 'normal' is and question whether this is acceptable. For most people day to day pressures result in them accepting the norm because they don't know that there is a better way of working and don't have time to even consider an alternative approach.I help organisations to communicate with the market in a different way. If you empathise, educate and communicate consultatively, supported with hard evidence you are far more likely to engage.
