I love what I do. I am a Senior Data Engineer currently working with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL and Power BI. I work in a Lead Technical role for a key data team for the largest Tech Company in the North of England TalkTalk (PXC). I design and develop end to end data solutions and the supporting architecture and take a lead role in deciding our processes and policies. I work with a vast array of structured and semi structured data managing it's definitions, storage & transformation to user appropriate reporting. Previously I have working across a wide variety of projects including platform migrations. I spent over a decade with GE Capital Fleet Services - the global gold standard in our sector and my other experience includes a well know international research & media consultancy and a £38M Credit Union Transformation project. My curiosity, inventiveness and insatiable desire to solve problems and improve things has taken me on a fantastic journey, taught me a great set of skills and allowed me to work with some wonderful people.
