In 27 years in the federal public service, I have acquired a unique depth and breadth of experience in 6 departments/agencies (Health Canada, Indigenous Affairs, the Privy Council Office, the Public Health Agency of Canada, Canadian Heritage and the RCMP) and several domains, including communications, IT/business intelligence, ministerial services and strategic policy and planning. All of these experiences have contributed to a professional toolbox that emphasizes thorough analysis through multiple lens, strategic thinking and creativity, and an ability to adapt to whatever environment I find myself in. I prefer “What if …” to “No, not possible” and “We” over “Me”. I believe the vast majority of my colleagues, from Ministers and Deputy Ministers to summer students, would tell you I’m low maintenance and high return - and a fun part of the team.
