As the Associate Director I'm responsible for direction and management of the Exploratorium Global Collaborations Project team. Collectively, we oversee a portfolio of cross-functional projects. I also provide high-level administrative and strategic support for Museum Rentals & Concessions.Since joining the Exploratorium annual revenue has grown in Global Collaborations from $2.6 million to $15 million.What I like best about my job is the environment. I'm working with an amazing team, and I know that my efforts contribute to developing young and older minds alike. There's really nothing that can compare to the feeling you get when you see someone connect with an exhibit or a work and redefine the limits of what they consider to be possible.

My primary role at Juniper Ridge entailed working directly with the CEO/Founder in order to plan and execute projects that contribute to the growth and sustainability of one of the only completely natural (as opposed to synthetic) fragrance companies in the world. The products are extracted from real, native-plant sources, and include natural colognes, perfumes, liquid soap, room sprays, and petrochemical-free incense. My job included everything from taking new products to market to forecasting sales to streamlining operational processes in order to discover hidden efficiencies and cost savings. I also managed and supported 12 employees, and facilitated cross-functional meetings between the Design, Production, Sales, and Marketing departments.

My role as the Regional Manager with Backroads (the world's largest active travel company) was centered primarily on managing an annual $3.7 million operating budget. This included negotiating with hotel, restaurant, campground, and excursion vendors for over 2,500 customers, and supervising / mentoring / evaluating 15 geographically dispersed team-members. I would also develop and implement two to four new trips each year. My most successful project was a Big Sur trip that generated over $450,000 in revenue in its first year.I was promoted to Regional Manager after six years as the Trip Development Coordinator.

This included maintaining pricing goals and margins from design to execution.
