Debt Capital Markets origination for Australian and Kangaroo Corporates and FIs

Provided assistance to fixed income portfolio managers, acted as the teams execution trader, and produced weekly financial literature to assist with investment idea generation across multiple asset classes (credit, crypto, equities)

I was accountable for risk management on day to day racing liabilities under significant time pressures, as well for creating an equitable customer experience in domestic and international fixed odds racing markets.

I travelled to Vietnam to provide strategic recommendations to a social enterprise called Kids Need Books. We were supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and their New Colombo Plan Scholarship program, enabling us to access a wide range of resources and connections.During this project we worked on developing a comprehensive strategy so that the enterprise could move towards sustainability, and achieve their goal of creating accessible English reading resources for less priviledged children in Hanoi.

Tutoring high school students in a range of subjects including English, Geography, Business Studies and Economics.

It is disrupting national economies and affecting lives, costing people, communities and countries dearly today and even more tomorrow.Project Everest is currently working on environmental sustainability in the areas of Plastic Recycling and Fuel EfficiencyApproximately 50% of the 280 tonnes of plastic waste in developing countries are recyclable, but plastic recycling rates are relatively low in developed countries due to the complexity of sorting and low value of many plastics. This is even more extreme in developing countries where the understanding of recycling processes are limited, costs of recycling can be greater than that of buying new, and governments in developing countries tend to have environmental concerns low on their list.Through my role in the Plastics for Purpose team, I was able to develop relationships with government officials at both a state and federal level and upper level management of relevant NGO's. With the end goal of implementing and developing a sustainable social enterprise, I was able to enhance my business skills, whilst gaining international business experience.
