I am a Navy Veteran with over 20 years service. As I begin a new chapter in my life, my goal is to combine my love for sports and serving people, with my sales, recruiting, marketing and management experience to work for a professional sports organization. 16 of my 20 years experience in the Navy was spent in recruiting as a recruiter, recruiting station manager and recruiting area supervisor. I have a proven track record of implementing and driving operational objectives, training, mentoring, coaching and building a quality team to achieve aggressive sales objectives through the utilization of a quality prospecting plan including leads, personally developed contacts, cold calls and quality referrals. I also have 17 years continuous coaching experience ranging from coach pitch in 1997 to college baseball through 2014.I was most recently an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at The Ohio State University at Lima from 2011 to 2014. I personally increased average roster size from 15- 20 in 2011 to 30-35 by 2014 by utilizing personally organized showcases and talent recruiting websites such as PBR and NCSA.
