I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, which was a life-changing experience. Working with fellow students and faculty to learn more about the things that research and data can teach us has been one of the most fulfilling times in my life. One my greatest passions in life is getting to know people and what makes them tick, so I’m looking forward to diving into the world of I/O more through my Master’s program. Through my study of I/O psychology and human resources, I have learned the enormous value of having the right people in the right positions in an organization, as well as the importance of creating an environment which respects employees and treats them as human beings, with thoughts and emotions, rather than cogs in a machine. Before my college education, I had the opportunity to manage several teams in the food industry, which included coordinating schedules, working with diverse and unique individuals, and performing well under pressure during intense circumstances. Going forward, I hope to apply both of these experiences to any company I work for. I look forward to getting to know you!
