Responsible for the overall operation of the Community Health Library at Community Hospital of Los Gatos. This library served the public and medical professionals providing access to quality health information. The library operated as a non-profit organization and was partially grant funded.

Working as part of a team, I administered prescribed radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients using Varian Linac equipment, Cobalt equipment, and low voltage x-ray machines. Accurately charting patient treatments, mold construction, QA monitoring, interacting effectively with patients throughout the course their treatment, & maintaining cooperative working relationships with Cancer Center Oncologists and staffPosition required Passing National Registry Exam and ongoing CE to maintain California License.

I performed Diagnostic X-Ray procedures on out-patents and inpatients at VMC, at Outpatient Clinics, at Juvenile Hall, and in the Coroner's Morgue. Procedures performed included Fluoroscopic Studies, C-arm & Surgical films, PACU, ICU, CCU, & Neonatal ICU studies, child abuse cases, Sub-specials, and ER cases. This position involved working extensive night and weekend shifts and included substantial exposure to trauma radiography. Radiation protection, QA duties, and patient education responsibilities were important aspects of this position.Position required Passing National Registry Exam and ongoing CE to maintain California License.
