Responsibilities included implementation and maintenance of the estimating system and job estimating; contract negotiations and materials purchasing; customer service; inventory control; job cost review; environmental compliance.

Responsible for establishing policies and procedures, building a team concept and implementing them into a successful department for proper receiving, distribution and maintenance of raw materials and finished product that was in harmony with all plant operations; maintaining good accounting and housekeeping procedures to insure accurate inventory control; maintaining physical facilities and equipment; supervision of a all warehouse and receiving personnel

Managed the existing prepress department through extensive changes in personnel, department layout and advanced technology. Through the implementation of new procedures, built the department into a lean, efficient team of professionals who excelled at making Fisher-Harrison a great place to work and to make the company one of the best printing companies in the southeast.

Responsible for job planning of all live jobs in conjunction with estimated plan, scheduling, purchasing outside services and expediting said jobs to meet customer delivery dates.

Hired initially to be the estimator and paper purchasing lead. Was quickly assigned the responsibility of implementing one of the early computerized estimating systems in the printing industry at the plant; collecting standards data, BHR data, loading and testing until final implementation. Responsible for purchasing and inventory management of all paper.

Small job shop employing 7 employees. Responsible for customer service, estimating, purchasing, prepress (process camera through plating). Management of all manufacturing elements through shipping.
