Development and management of virtual simulation software packages.Development and delivery of virtual simulation software scenarios. Development and delivery of virtual simulation software training (Train the Trainer)Liaising with SME's (Subject Matter Experts) on integrating virtual simulation into established Army training packages and being a champion.

Made the switch from Airforce to Army to take up a fixed term contract to deliver support to the NZ Army Simulation Centre. Worked on reducing downtime and enabling faster reaction to customer requests in particular speeding up the change management process. Fun and challenging time down in Wellington. Working with everything from legacy serial comms through to high speed datalinks. Massive learning curve which I enjoyed immensely, attended CCNA course in about the 3rd week I was there learnt all about Cisco gear then was handed a Nortel switch to setup when I got back to work...funny guys. A lot of time on.

After some time in the civilian workforce decided to re-enlist and ended up initially in Auckland at the Transmitters Section working on 1-10kW Transmitters and their associated equipment. Was then offered a position in Ohakea which I took up and spent 8 months running the Ohakea Battery Bay (servicing of aircraft lead-acid and alkali batteries) before I.
