I have been working in the driverless vehicle space since 2017 through 2024 at Cyngn Inc., Starsky Robotics and Faction Technology Inc. My primary role was to help software teams identify the optimum placement for Cameras, Lidars, Ultrasonics, Antennas, Computers and other electromechanical components required for driverless vehicles and the mounting and housings for the vehicles I supported. I have up-fitted over a dozen different vehicle types from light ClubCar utility vehicles to semi trucks.I helped co-found KAV Sports, Inc which has launched fully custom 3D printed helmets which won three 2022 prestigious design awards from RedDot, Design and Innovation Award and Time Magazine Best Inventions.I have over 20 years working on leading helmet brands Giro Sport Design (bicycle, snow, Fizik bicycle saddles, Hydropak), Bell Helmets (motorcycle, bicycle, skate, custom fit street and off-road motorcycle helmets), Easton Sports (hockey, baseball, lacrosse), Riddell (football, 7on7).I've consulted on a wide variety of projects in medical space, consumer products, fitness, and musical instruments.I have a passion for working with my hands and finding solutions to problems that make products better.

My primary responsibility was hand symmetrizing helmet master patterns for the two Sr. Industrial Designers.I was re-hired full time February 2014 as a Jr. Designer where I still supported the Sr. Designers, but also had my own ground-up helmet projects.Upon graduation in 1995, in addition to industrial design responsibilities, I held roles in project management and shop management.During this time, I was actively involved in the Bell/Giro and Riddell merge.In addition to helmets. I was the lead designer for Fizik's first line of "Design by Giro" saddles. This was a collaboration with Selle Royal to enter the premium aftermarket saddle business. Responsibilities included developing the ergonomic base geometry, Industrial Design and development at Selle Royal's Italian headquarters.
