Macintosh IT consulting for the creative community of Philadelphia. Clients ranged from graphic design freelancers to whole departments within large enterprises. Clients included Independence Blue Cross, MBNA Bank, Bank of America, Bailey Brand Consulting, and hundreds of others.

Scientific Visualization Studio in the High Speed Computing Division of the Earth Science DirectorateComputer animation, data modeling, video production. Among the many sequences that I produced while working in the SVS, I produced a several minute video that took the viewer through a tour of Earth from street level to a full Earth view. I used 4 levels of actual satellite data to pan down the Washington, DC mall, zoom out from the Capitol Building, revealing the Mid-Atlantic region, the East Coast, and finally a full view of the Western Hemisphere. Then, a terminator spun the globe, exposing the nighttime lights of Earth. The globe spins to show what the whole Earth looks like at night. Finally, day returns and the viewer zooms back to the Capitol Building. (Think Google Earth way before Google Earth!)This animation was shown at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at a special event and was the genesis for a more polished version that won an award at SIGGRAPH 2001's Animation Theater.
