I practice in the Intellectual Property group, focusing on the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, advising clients regarding patent, trademark and copyrights issues, intellectual property licensing and dispute mediation. My background is varied: I have a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree in nuclear engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a law degree from Duquesne University and have taken additional courses in other technical fields and in intellectual property mediation. I have also served as general counsel and had my own established law firm, so I understand the business and the technical aspects of my client's world.
