I am currently part of the team that is building the new Coakley Middle School in Norwood, MA. This new school is 188,000 square feet, which will be turned over to the town in June of 2025, and will serve grades 5 through 8.

This position gave me great experience with many aspects of project management:- Renovation of an existing building- Working on a public sector/government project (McCormack Building, One Ashburton Place)- Working around occupied spaces- Hazardous material abatement- On-site activities such as safety, quality control, subcontractor coordination, progress reports, and punch list/final inspection- Working alongside the Project Manager/Project Executive, Assistant Project Manager, Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendent to meet and exceed the client’s expectations

Worked in AutoCAD to create as-built drawings and work with contract drawings.

This position allowed me to gain project experience in commercial plumbing, handling tasks at different each of the project:- Fixture and Equipment Quantities- Permits- Submittals- Change Orders- Processing Drawings- Closeout Documents

This Co-Op position gave me the opportunity to work on different projects and learn about many aspects of pre-construction:- Estimating- Quantity Take-off- Subcontractor Communication and Buyout
