I analyze training needs through a needs assessment process, consulting with key stakeholders to identify performance improvement opportunities that can be addressed through learning interventions. I then collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain learning content, including instructor-led and digital content as it relates to on-boarding, sales, operations and collections. I partner with internal stakeholders to implement new course material in support of project launches, ensuring content and outcomes are aligned to the specific needs of the client and audience. Work also includes supplying audio-visual multimedia assets, such as banners, icons, illustrations, diagrams, narration, animations, playbooks and factsheets. Finally, I contribute innovative approaches to the learning function by keeping current with new insights, research and technologies in the market.

I supported the Digital Transformation Office with optimizing task success throughout the Canada.ca online presence using WET-based interaction designs, templates and patterns. Specific work included prototyping and testing a WCAG compliant visual pay calendar that would allow public servants to see and understand when they get paid, based on the results of early baseline testing. Work also included page prototyping using ATOM, GitHub pages, and Drupal as well as assisting in the monthly publication of the Canada.ca blog.

I designed and delivered the user interface and interaction designs for a prototype government-wide, team-based directory service. User, technical and business requirements were gathered in collaboration with the team’s UX researchers, developers, product owners and technical writers during the course of multiple sprints. Additional design support included low & high-fidelity wireframes (https://github.com/gctools-outilsgc/ux_prototypes/tree/master/Directory_Service/Directory_Final_Designs) and paper prototyping for the new GC Collab global shell, a technical audit of the design system’s visual assets, as well as the creation of custom mascots for the design system’s landing page (https://design.gccollab.ca/).

I supplied Visual Design, Graphic Design, Art Direction, UID, UXD, and Illustration services for a variety of media projects.
