I have the privilege of serving as the AVP and Executive Director of the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. The University of Tennessee Alumni Association serves more than 422,000 graduates of the UT System by providing events, lifelong learning, networking opportunities, legislative advocacy, career services, travel programs and benefits and discounts.

• Managed and led a team of 13 full-time staff members, 2 graduate assistants and 10 student employees • Responsible for the management and oversight of employer relations, career development and cooperative education• Managed $1.4 million office budget and coordinated all software licenses, staffing plans and revenue planning• Successfully merged the Auburn University Career Center and the Cooperative Education Program • Increased Engineering and Technology Career Fair employer attendance by 23% in first year• Event revenue increased by 21% by lowering event costs and increasing event fees ($256,000 to $310,000) • Restructured two positions in our office to effectively manage our office budget process and the management of our Handshake database• Created the first University Career Center Employer Advisory Board that was created to provide strategic direction for our programs and services• Assisted in the launch of the first institutional effort to capture NACE First Destination Survey (career outcomes) data which resulted in a 98% student knowledge rate at graduation• Involved in the campus-wide implementation of Salesforce and served as a functional administrator• Launched event check-in system that streamlined processes and improved the reliability of post-event reports

Responsible for the overall administration and supervision of the employer relations team. This group manages programs and services that are related to recruitment services that connect students and graduates with organizations hiring for full-time professional employment.

I joined the UT Alumni Association in September 2011. My responsibilities included alumni networking and career services programming, the insurance program, the alumni tour program, and other sponsorship initiatives. My team launched a comprehensive alumni career services and networking program for 300,000+ alumni from all four UT System campuses.
