• Led Tesco Bank’s Colleague Communications team, responsible for the development, management and delivery of the Colleague Communications strategy and plan for Tesco Bank. Working with the Bank’s Executive and Directors, I helped craft the Bank’s ongoing story, ensuring we achieved appropriate share of voice across both Tesco Group and Stores. • Led the communications plan for the Bank’s transformation programme, working with the Chief Transformation Officer and workstream leads to shape our transformation narrative and create a case for change that is meaningful, positive and engaging.• Following promotion in role, I refocused the Colleague Communications team, appointing Business Partners to provide dedicated support to our core business areas, and creating a specialist Design and Film Production team to enable greater focus on innovative communications campaigns and solutions. Key achievements• Design and delivery of a ‘Less bank, more Tesco’ strategy campaign; including dedicated culture workshops for 4,000 colleagues, a full customer-centric building rebrand, culminating in Tesco Bank Expo 2019 - a series of high-energy events held across our three sites over six days.• Mobilisation of the Bank’s new Extended Leadership Team, a diverse group of leaders selected by merit rather than hierarchy to improve leadership visibility and accountability, who are ultimately charged with helping tell the story of the Bank’s ongoing transformation. • Launched a new best-in-class digital colleague communications platform, including a new personalised intranet, the introduction of Yammer, and a new digital signage system to enable the delivery of high-quality video content and live broadcasts. • Incident management during a variety of crisis events, working at pace during complex and evolving circumstances to provide clear and responsive communications support, ensuring our Customer Service function could continue to best support our customers.
