Overseeing the development of a university Open Source Programs Office (OSPO) whose mission is to discover and grow the footprint of RIT’s impact on all things Open, including but not limited to Open Source Software, Open Data, Open Science, Open Hardware, Open Educational Resources, and Creative Commons licensed efforts. This involved: - Seeking funding, grant writing, and liaising with funders.- Designing new programs in collaboration with university researchers and external clients regarding supporting open source.- Developing an evidence based open source community development methodology and applying it to in direct assistance programs. - Showing leadership in the field of academic open source by working closely with international communities such as CHAOSS University WG, CURIOSS, OSPO++, SustainOSS, and the Turing Way.

Leading and shipping a multi-language library for translating commands between PyTorch, TensorFlow, and TensorFlow.js. Helping integrate communication protocols between workers participating in privacy-preserving, federated, machine learning systems.

Working with the UNICEF Venture Fund team and the organizations which have received an initial investment to develop a cohesive strategy with regards to software licensing, community development, as well as strategies to mitigate the risks of black boxed machine learning models. Developing open source platform for low-skilled job matching program based out of the IRC's R&D team in Jordan. - Creating machine learning classification service to find most relevant job seekers for any given job opening based upon existing job match data as well as evaluation exercise given to hiring managers. - Built multi-armed bandit testing service to select various intervention packages for our beneficiaries in order to determine best performing intervention combinations. - Lead engineering team in development of a job matching web platform, directly integrated into CommCare.

Working on Popcorn Editor which is a javascript library that allows users to embed a popcorn.js video editor in a static web page.
