As Executive Minister of this 250 member church, I assist with developing and managing programs and services to further Church’s Mission. Additionally, my areas of responsibility include ensuring the efficient operation of the church. This is accomplished through effective management of church boards, departments, committees, and staff persons as well as the efficient oversight of facilities management. Highlights of the accomplishments are as follows:• Oversee church annual budget of half a million dollars • Provide sound and inspiring instruction through teaching and preaching the Holy Scriptures• Give compassionate care and concern to the sick and shut-in as well as those battling life’s challenges• Proven ability to give competent management during a crises • Implement energy efficient programs to realize utility savings • Continue energy savings by identifying antiquated mechanical systems for repair, preparing request for proposals, reviewing the proposals and selecting vendors to provide services• Added passive income to the church by preparing a renovation plan for unused part of the facility and managing the renovation and acting as liaison between the tenant, a public charter school serving 100 students and the church • Effective supervision of approximately 20 paid staff members and volunteers.• Increase the efficacy of the Outreach ministry through analyzing community needs and designing appropriate programs to meet those needs.• In partnership with Pastor and ministerial staff, programs and committees were made more efficient and effective which increased community involvement. As a result of the effort our ministerial team, church membership increased by 66%.
