I’m Mike, and I am a seasoned finance professional and entrepreneur. But my passion is making a difference in my community. As a longtime Pasco resident, I have built businesses, created jobs, and managed to always give back to the community along the way. I’ve spent the majority of my career working for myself. I am known for founding Big Storm Brewing Co, a micro-brewery born out of Pasco County. We became one of the leading craft breweries in all of Florida. I also served as the Senior Vice President at the Pasco Economic Development Council, where I got to utilize all of my strongest skill sets in a role that brought out the best of my abilities. Currently, I am an owner/operator of a small, independent brewery in Land O Lakes, Thirsty Buffalo Brewing Co. When I’m not focused on the relationship-building or consumer-facing aspects of my role, I rely on my highly adaptive nature and critical thinking skills to architect solutions to any problems that arise. That being said, I truly thrive when I am helping my team meet daily challenges and am always evolving my approach and continuously learning.I believe if you want to see change in your community, you can’t just talk about it. I currently sit on the board of several of non-profits including United Way of Pasco County, Rotary Club of New Port Richey (Vice President), Pasco Education Foundation, and the Tourist Development Council for Pasco County.I look forward to utilizing both my financial and entrepreneurial background to propel the Pasco County to new heights.
