Northern Colorado

Responsible for maintaining all security systems and providing physical security including access control, access management, contractor safety training, perimeter security and monitoring. Supervised up to 50 officers during this time. Developed multiple client programs and initiatives including safety awareness training, contractor safety training, access control initiatives, and emergency preparedness plans.

Carpentry and Masonry Specialist.Responsible for maintaining over $5 million worth of equipment including vehicles, construction support equipment, weapons, communications equipment and personal items. Personally oversaw over $100 million of construction projects for the US Army including vertical carpentry, electrical, block and concrete operations. Deployed in support of Operation Bright Star 2010 in October of 2009. Provided construction and maintenance support to command forces based in Cairo. Deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from February 2010 - March 2011. During this time I conducted multiple convoy operations to over 10 different locations in Southern Afghanistan and provided vertical construction support to over 5,000 troops and locals. Support included development of hardened structures for perimiter security, command operations, field hygiene, residences, food and base maintenance as well as multiple additional projects on an as-needed basis. Performed construction, security and convoy operations in conjunction with coalition forces from Canada, Great Britain, Belgium, and France as well as local national contractors.Awards during my deployment included:- Army Achievement Medal- Naval Commendation- Combat Action Badge
