Oversaw accounts payable and receivable, procurement, contract review, and budget management and tracking. I also provided oversight to part-time gift shop management staff. In my first two years, the gift shop improved efficiency and increased sales by 25%.I worked closely with the Director of Operations to manage the budget and accounting structure for the Shrine. This involved close coordination with home office accounting staff, as well as education and support for Shrine staff members.As part of the Shrine operations team, I also assisted with the planning and execution of events, both from a finance perspective and working "on the floor" as staff for various events ranging in attendance from a dozen to a thousand. This included floor setup, directing catering and other vendors, and general hospitality and customer service.

Served as Archivist, Safe Environment Coordinator, and Director of Administrative Services for a Catholic diocese comprising 45 parishes, 26 schools, and more than 75,000 Catholics.Managed all records of the diocese, including personnel files, correspondence, and other historical documents.Provided support and training to parish and school administrative staff, as well as clergy. Managed inter-departmental and inter-parish projects, including diocesan-wide implementation of Parish Data System software and Gmail system. Supported pastors and staff through the final phases of a reorganization plan reducing the number of parishes from 69 to 45, as well as beginning stages of the diocese's first-ever diocesan-wide capital campaign. Served as primary resource for all policies and procedures, and assisted the Chancellor and Treasurer on human resource projects. Processed visa applications and other arrangements for international priests and seminarians.Led implementation of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops' Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, working closely with parish schools, religious education programs, and youth ministry programs. Managed background screening and youth protection training, and implemented policies on claims of sexual abuse.Assisted in the confidential work of the bishop’s consultative bodies, including the Council of Priests, Deans, and Sexual Abuse Review Board. Served on the bishop’s council of department directors and as staff to the Diocesan Building Commission.

Served as only Catholic campus minister serving a private, top-tier regional university of 2,500 students.Managed budget and finances, supervised administrative assistant, graduate-level interns, and liturgical musicians. Also responsible for maintenance of Newman Center building and grounds and management of two-resident apartment in Newman Center.Ministerial duties included supervision and leadership in liturgical planning, working with and training peer ministry team, retreat planning, pastoral counseling, and building relationships in the university, diocese, and other civic organizations. Also developed a strong communications strategy to improve use of e-mail, social media, and other tools to connect with the campus and wider community.
