My life has been guided by a continuous series of serendipitous moments that have created many rewarding business and personal journeys. I have founded several companies, lived in Paris, spoken with Wall Street analysts, guest lectured at conferences and universities on three continents, worked with the DIA, and constantly travel.I am powered by a strong sense that complexity is overrated and simple is always better. What is known as Design Thinking has always been engrained as a part of what I do. Something that can be explained in four sentences does not need PowerPoint. Something that can be completed in 90 days should not be a line item for 18 months. Conversation shouldn’t exist around meaningless buzzwords. My new venture, Engine90, is based on the idea that Operational Speed (doing more of the same faster) has been maximized. TMP Worldwide, parent of Monster.com, acquired the original firm where I became Group CEO.Prior to establishing The Corporate Group, I was with a leading management consulting firm where I first saw the horrors of modern organizational pathology.I am always ready to help - I have mentored people in many countries, and ready to volunteer time to worthy endeavours.
