I have 12+ years of experience working with the HP suite of quality assurance tools. I have done installations, configurations, and customizations of HP Quality Center and HP Application Lifecycle Management for Fortune 500 and international companies. I have also written and executed automated and manual test scripts to aid them in their QA testing endeavors.Quality Center/Application Lifecycle Management Project Customization:I have extensive knowledge of the inner workings of HP's flagship QA tool. I've developed large amounts of customized workflow using the VBScript workflow editor, as well as using externally developed tools and plugins to completely alter the behavior of these products.QuickTest Professional/Unified Functional Testing:I have extensive experience developing automated test scripts using the Business Component module that exists in QC/ALM as well as plain automated test scripts. I've used advanced scripting techniques to do everything from pull data from a database to find specific text on a jpeg image with descriptive programming and low level recording.C#:I currently am part of the team that develops a plugin for HP QC/ALM to keep pharma companies FDA compliant, specifically in regards to regulation FDA 21 CFR Part 11 (electronic records). Often our customers require customization to QC/ALM that cannot be created strictly within the confines of the QC/ALM workflow editor. In these instances, I work with C# to develop custom plugins that interface with QC/ALM's Open Test Architecture and allow such enhancements as windows forms, external database access, additional reporting, and nearly any other thing a client can think of.
