Consulted multiple clients as a member of the firm’s National Media Team. Main duties involved acting as Press Secretary for the American Dream Movement through SEIU, monitoring 400 nationwide jobs protests over August 2011, conducting national media outreach for National Day of Action in November 2011 and Take Back the Capitol in December 2011, tracking local and national clips, and pitching breaking stories and overall narrative to national media. Additional clients included The Brennan Center for Justice, Campaign for a Fair Settlement, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, Communication Workers of America, Family Values @ Work, National Employment Law Project, and SEIU Pennsylvania.

Working as part of the AFL-CIO's Field Communications team, managed a coordinated communications campaign against anti-worker legislation in the Indiana General Assembly.

Working under the AFL-CIO's Labor 2010 program, managed internal and external communications for the Iowa Federation of Labor, including press management, event planning, placing op-eds, spokesperson training and social media. Worked with Salsa to manage supporter database and send blast emails.

Field Organizer, working through the Repower America campaign, responsible for organizing in the Cincinnati area, recruiting activists and volunteers and mobilizing to maintain constant pressure on the Cincinnati offices of Senators Sherrod Brown and George Voinovich, urging them to support comprehensive clean energy legislation.

Political Affairs Director responsible for maintaining communication with various chapters of the College Democrats throughout Indiana. Planned and executed the 1st Annual Kennedy-Obama Dinner, a statewide fundraising event featuring speakers that included elected officials and allied groups.

Promoted from Intern, responsible for coordinating multiple teams with the campaign, organizing events, phone banks and canvasses across the campus of Ball State University.-Successfully organized a large rally for two campaign surrogates with only three days notice.-Learned to organize voter contact on the VoteBuilder system.-Ran the Election Day GOTV for the four precincts surrounding Ball State University, all of which were won with at least 65%.
