Allocated over a million dollar budget to build a visual effects (“VFX”) facility for CBS Television from the ground up in just 45 days. Oversee team of three. Setup and configure all workstations including 20 blade and 40 towers for VFX compositors, CG artists, Houdini artists, coordinators, etc.; Designed facility to scale to 140 nodes.

Served as sole System Engineer. Planned and executed the reconfiguration of VR division’s Active Directory, user workstations, and network layout. Successfully resolved all user authentication errors and increased connection speeds which enabled operations to resume.

Oversaw $230k production IT budget for the third season of Defiance. Scaled department to 2x its original size to more than 100 production workstations including: Red workstations, DaVinci Resolve workstations, storage servers, VFX render farm, domain controllers, storage, and license servers.

Hollywood

Assisted with the design and build out of Illuminate’s 2D-to-3D and VFX divisions. Configured and rolled out over 60 compositor workstations, a 90-workstation render farm, and the server room design and layout.
