Designed and developed self-paced eLearning (SPeL) for the United States Coast Guard Marine Inspector under the Marine Inspector Performance Support Architecture (MIPSA) contract. Developed training and assessments for a systems-based course and a project management course for new construction/modification using Articulate Storyline. Created structured on-the-job training (SOJT) materials, performance test checklist (PTC), and coach’s guide as companions to the SPeL. Met with SMEs to identify relevant information for the training. Analyzed information to determine instructional strategies, evaluation methods, and media selection. Implemented SCORM and Section 508 compliance into courseware.

Worked as Instructional Design consultant with Change4Growth Consulting (Columbus, OH) to implement of new product lifecycle management (PLM) system with client PVH (NYC) who own brands Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, IZOD, ARROW, Speedo, Warner's, Olga, Geoffrey Beene and True&Co. Most recently work as consultant with Alliance Data in Columbus, Ohio. Designed and produced instructional materials (print, web media, video) for large scale change management project at PVH (www.pvh.com) Phillip Van Heusen in NYC. Work involved frequent and extended travel to New York City and Hong Kong offices. Created blended training Articulate 360 suite of eLearning products.

I've developed learning experiences and eLearning modules for thousands of people in a variety of industries large and small, including academia, business and retail. I have worked with subject matter experts from around the globe and facilitated training in various locations, most recently in New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong with one of the world's largest global apparel companies. I am adept at creating scenario-based learning modules in which adult learners make real-world decisions in job-relevant situations. Using motion graphics, images, audio and video, I combine the best practices of Multimedia Learning and Instructional Design. I am proficient with professional tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Tech Smith Camtasia, and the Adobe Creative Suite. using .

Instructional Design Manager for the Office of Instructional Innovation. Supervised team of 15 full-time instructional designers and supported 12 schools. I created a standard methodology for our team to use in developing courses, including design phases, timelines and deliverables. I was able to lead this change with 100% buy-in through comprehensive planning, asking for meaningful input from team-members and constituents, maintaining transparency in the process, and building consensus. I piloted an initiative to employ a large team of student workers to support instructional designers in developing media content for online courses. I hired, trained and supervised 17 student workers, managed projects, established policy procedures, templates, tools and quality benchmarks. I collected feedback and performance metrics to guide future decision making. I received accolades and a substantial pay bonus for going above and beyond my job requirements.Collaborated across functional boundaries to serve on teams in support of major university-wide initiatives.
