• Utilize SolarWinds (Orion) Network Performance Monitoring tool to monitor global network environments; issues include, but are not limited to, the health of network nodes, line errors, and circuit utilization; troubleshoot and work with branch site contacts to resolve, if possible; escalate to Engineering teams, when necessary.• Utilize Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) to monitor the health of applications and servers within the Gallagher production environment; troubleshoot with appropriate support teams and escalate to the appropriate Engineering team, when necessary, to work towards a resolution.• Utilize vSphere Web Client to monitor servers built on VMware ESX hosts.• Utilize BMC Remedy ticketing system for ticket creation, escalation and searching; tickets ranging from server connectivity to application outages, on the infrastructure side, and circuit utilization to site outages on the network side.• Work in conjunction with Verizon Business to resolve service outages for branch sites, worldwide, in a timely manner.• Management of conference bridge calls, across multiple teams, in an effort to help resolve critical outages; documentation of chronology, resolution, and future enhancement possibilities to reduce/eliminate re-occurrence.• In charge of the creation of month-end, divisional, network uptime and outage reporting for distribution to Gallagher leadership.
