I participated in a rotational intern program at Tinker Air Force Base during the summer of 2024. My fellow interns and I worked together on many projects, including:- Implementing an application which used Python to read in orbital data from multiple JSON files and send successive post request to a C++ propagator service. After receiving back successive propagation data responses, the application used JavaScript and HTML to display multiple satellites in orbit around a displayed globe in the Cesium library.- Writing methods in a C# application to perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on Aircraft, Weapon, and other mission planning objects.- Constructing a Python script which read in JSON data and updated the resulting dictionary based on specifications in a separate text file for the purposes of Data Virtualization.- Utilizing BitBucket, Jira, and the command line git interface to effectively use version control when creating and debugging projects.- Using a Cisco switch two make computers under different VLANs ping each other via IP address.

This internship involved a variety of activities. Firstly, I implemented bug fixes in a codebase using Java in the Eclipse IDE. I also collaborated with a group of two others in the development of an application in Android Studio using the language Dart and the Flutter API that communicated with a Java Maven Application through means of a WebSocket mediator that sends and receives JSON messages. Throughout my internship, I utilized various software design patterns, including observers, providers, singletons, and builders.

During the summer after my first year of college, I had the privilege of working alongside seven other students and two farm managers at the Bucknell Farm. Each morning, we would work together to practice regenerative farming techniques to grow and harvest food, prevent and remove weeds, and maintain the overall upkeep of the farm. The experience taught me the joy of working with other positive people, regardless of how sunny and hot it is outside (as long as I'm wearing my trusty sun hat)!

During my pre-junior and pre-senior summers in high school, I worked part time at a veterinary clinic, working with others to feed and care for animals and clean the clinic. This entailed communication with the technicians and doctors, and interaction with clients whose pets we were caring for.
