Skilled in UX Design, Visual Identity Design, Brand Design, and Design Research. Prior to COVID-19, I was working for Skift, one of the biggest travel media companies as a Designer. Skift is  NYC-based and I worked remotely from NC. My projects consisted of the UX Design of an event page (IDEA)  and visual identity design for our services and events that we held internationally. During my time there I would provide input on ways we can improve the UX of certain B2B products/services while I collaborated closely with the development team, lead designer, as well as marketing. The tools used to communicate and help organize projects consisted of Sketch, Zeplin, Slack, Wrike, and Bootcamp.  Before my position at Skift, I was a Contract Digital Designer for Greenworks Tools, a leading international battery-powered tool company. My role there allowed me to research the market to develop visual identities for new and current products and product lines. I collaborated with project managers, marketing directors, and engineers in designing product sheets to best communicate the products to our dealers and potential customers.  These product sheets transitioned into the largest catalog that the company has ever had where I lead the design and visual identity of it. In addition, I’d design web banners for our amazon and website pages.  I graduated in Fall ‘18 with a degree in Design Studies. During my time there, I learned about the theory and history of design, focused on user research and development. In my last semester, I collaborated with IBM on a  project focused on designing a solution for a non-profit, The Green Chair Project. This allowed me to further my knowledge of the UX design process with the collaboration of different fields to design a new space for the non-profit, as well as, a digital solution for their users. Through this project, I have been issued a certificate by  IBM, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. In addition, I studied UX design in Prague where a team and I  developed a product based on the autonomous experience and productivity. More information about these projects can be found within my portfolio.  I believe Design Studies provides me with a stronger orientation when creating a brand or visual identity as well as working with UX design.
