Senior Director Of Engineering
CurrentI'm the member of the Engineering Leadership team that leads the Engineering department of 250 engineers and managers. My key areas of responsibility are:• General engineering management responsibilities: ownership and improvements of deployments, ownership of engineering cloud budget, leading internal engineering communications, talent management and HR and people management related tasks.Highlights: - Led modernization of deployment process so it requires twice less engineers involved with successful 90+ deployments per quarter (99%). - Played key role in development and introduction of new engineering leveling system, upskilling, internal engineering communication and recognition programs.• Management of QA functional department (up to 75 engineers in matrix structure)Introduced T-Shape QA fullstack approach and QA automation schools. It allowed faster test automation coverage and reduced bottlenecks removing the need of dedicated QA automation engineers in teams.• Accessibility of Wrike. Initiated and Drove the Accessibility project from 0 level to WCAG 2.1 AA level of compliance for the features in core Wrike experience. Accessibility became an integral part of all new developments starting from the design phase. It allowed Wrike to retain and acquire 30+ of customers with Accessibility requirements.• Management of Data Science /Machine Learning group (2-4 DS/ML engineers), stakeholder for ML product team, since 2020. Supervised the creation of ML/DS infrastructure and implementation of multiple product features that drove leadership in the AI category among Work Management platforms.• Management of Devops (13 engineers) after the leave of the previous manager, since 2023I successfully took the lead, established two new team leads, kept the team motivated and drove all the processes from quarterly planning to talent management.
