I assisted my clients in and out of court while providing valuable feedback and tutoring to younger colleagues at the office. My daily routines consisted of correspondence and consultations with clients by court officials and opponents as well as drafting written claims, subpoenas and memorandums. I handled my assignments independently and professionally aiming to find the most suitable and achievable solution for a case in hand.

I assisted clients with various (mostly) consumer law related disputes in and out of court.

I worked as a Legal Adviser at the FCCA under the Networks-department. My team focused on supervising the travel industry and implementing the new Package Travel Directive into national legislation via administrative applications and instructions. My tasks included ia. legal interpretation and instruction drafting, supervision duties, advising businesses on the compliance matters regarding the PTD and representing the Authority at the international meetings organized in my area of expertise.

As a referendary in a temporary 7th department of the Administrative Court I prepared draft decisions for the examination of the asylum cases by a chamber. In addition I worked on researching updated Country of Origin Information to be used in the examination of the cases.

I worked at the Asylum unit in one of the teams responsible for handling applications for asylum. My day-to-day routines consisted of interviewing asylum seekers and taking minutes of the interviews as well as presenting a legally justified decisions to the applications.

My responsibilities included varied financial administration tasks, eg. handling of bank accounts, controlling customer payments as well as legal assignments eg. issuing eviction charges in district courts and responding to queries while providing specialized customer service.

As an inspector in the package travel unit, I was tasked with receiving and processing applications for compensation from the package travel guarantee, communicating with consumers and companies on the matter and writing final decisions based on the applications.

Drafting documents with the junior associates, proof-reading presentations and participating in the meetings with clients. I also got to familiarize myself with NDAs and other contracts and compare the differences in corporate legislation between Finland and Turkey.

As a part of the committee organizing the annual Contact Forum recruitment fair, my responsibilities included drafting contracts, working on day-to-day accounting and marketing the fair to potential customers.
