I am the Clinical Outreach Representative for Center for Discovery, specializing in eating disorder treatment for adolescents and adults.Who we treat:-Adolescent Residential (9 yrs old-18 yrs old)-Young Adult Residential (16 yrs old- 22 yrs old)-Adult Residential (18+)-Adolescent & Adult PHP/IOP-Path To Peace (18+ Virtual Binge Eating Disorder Program) In both residential and outpatient: Center for Discovery uses evidence based (CBT, DBT, ERP, and ACT), trauma informed, and weight inclusive treatment approaches to address the psychological and neurological issues associated to the eating disorder. We treat the whole person. -Intuitive eating-Healthy at every size-Gender affirmative Care-All foods fit- In moderation, balance, and variety there are no bad foods. -Individualized care (small milieu)-We can accept clients that are vegan-We have a phase system focused on Honest, Openness, Willingness, Acceptance, and Vulnerability. -Clients learn how to prepare their own meals.-Bathroom Observations (behind a closed door, but counting out loud; however, (most) patients will not need bathroom observations at the OP level of care). -In Residential everyone will be on certain movement levels determined by the physician.-We focus on joyful movement (exercise should NOT feel like punishment it should be fun and enjoyable). I can also provide resources for adolescents and adults needing resources for primary mental health.Should you have a patient that is in need of services, feel free to contact me directly (or the patient can contact me directly) for Eating Disorders, and/or Mental Health Disorders.
