Miles is a self-aware, versatile, team orientated, result driven, sales professional with over 25 years’ experience across many therapy areas with notable success in CNS, Urology, Rheumatology, Anti-infectives, Respiratory, Cardiology & Diabetes.Starting out in the NHS as a nurse in 1992, Miles was quickly identified as a fast learning & charismatic individual and recruited into the pharmaceutical industry. Training course success was soon translated into commercial achievement allowing Miles to rapidly progress to more senior roles.Over the first four years of Miles’ career a total of 20 formulary positions were gained across the challenging London teaching hospitals, with experience gained in various therapy areas covering both mature & newly launched products in Rheumatology, Anti-infectives, Cardiology & MND.After relocating to the South West, the next 12 years saw Miles develop into a highly skilled & valued specialist in diabetes, with success experienced launching two first in class therapies with 2 top ten pharma companies. Miles received awards & recognition throughout this period, launching and creating guidelines for oral and injectable therapies.This sales knowledge & experience allowed Miles to transfer & continue his development in the field of Urology, rapidly becoming an integral resource to both his internal & external customers in both primary & secondary care across Devon, Cornwall & Somerset. Most recently Miles has enjoyed a period of consistent success & recognition as a KAM working in Urology promoting 2 unique, market leading products. During this time, Miles has become a pivotal member of his team, seizing many opportunities to evolve & develop his profile, contributing to several national projects, collaborating with cross functional colleagues & maintaining and growing his business. Miles’ ability to problem solve & adapt to the ever-changing NHS market & providing key customers with patient focused solutions has been recognised by his customers, colleagues and employers. This has allowed Miles to deliver several CCG endorsed guidelines focused on delivering better patient experience, outcomes & quality of care.Delivery of these guideline enhancements provided Miles with an additional platform for success & contributed to his team’s achievements, culminating in the delivery of the UK’s No.1 SVT performance in 2018.
