In this role, raising demand plan accuracy was the highest priority. Historical analysis and studying market trends revealed a glut of backlog due to high demand and low supply during the Covid-19 Pandemic. A highlight from this role was strategizing a new method to track backlog inventory and orders at risk of cancellation to manage inventory at our key distributors.• Led an increase in forecast accuracy from 60% to 80% of Cisco’s third highest grossing product family (Wireless)• Developed novel techniques to analyze inventory (backlog and debooking analysis)• Supported cross functional targets such as forecasting a converged product launch (2 companies, single SKU)• Created pricing strategy to mitigate risk of $20 million in E&O due to supplier contract negotiations, successfully removed $10 million from total risk
