Miles Friedman spent nearly eight exciting years as Director of Economic Development for Fauquier County, Virginia. He is now an Economic Development Consultant working with Michelle Coe from Blue Sky Phoenix and serving as President of Grella Partnership Strategies.Miles has been involved in economic development for more than 42 years, and in that time has headed a national association, worked as a DC lobbyist, taught at the college level and served as a consultant. His clients include: states, local communities, colleges and universities, non-profits, and private firms. His specialties include organizational development, strategic planning, performance measurement, workforce development and international business development.Friedman is very active in the community, serving on several boards of directors and having chaired the Prince William County Economic Development Council for 11 years. He was recently selected to serve On the Board of the New Prince William County Parks, Recreation and Tourism Foundation and continues to Chair the Quantico/Belvoir Regional Business Alliance. He and his wife have two grown children, of whom they are very proud, plus four wonderful grandchildren and are very committed to their dogs, who love us, no matter what!
